The Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri. Manohar Lal Khattar will be launching CSC academy on 15th September, 2017 at the Leela Hotel in Gurgaon.
The main objective of the CSC Academy is to provide ‘Virtual Academy’ which will deliver various education courses to rural citizens. CSC Academy will foster the capability and development of the learners, especially the Village Level Entrepreneurs and functionaries of other stakeholders of the Common Services Centre scheme through extensive use of ICT, ensuring ubiquitous reach of training services and community development programmes (Skill , health, housing, education, financial services, etc), to promote entrepreneurship among the rural masses in India. CSC Academy will develop, maintain and support the online learning environment to ensure large scale e-learning opportunities for learners across India, particularly in rural and far – flung regions.
The Mission of the CSC Academy is to provide skill based training to the VLEs and the masses in rural India with the intent to expand, enhance & diversify the learner‚s business and to increase their market share, employment and to provide professional qualification which can add value to self & community also. The vision is to reach out to rural learners and support them in promoting digital entrepreneurship and financial inclusion.
